Is this event free?
Yes, this event is a free part of the ALA Virtual Symposium, Sept. 14 - 16. To register for the Symposium and attend the Zoom-based education seminars and networking groups, click here.
How do I get access to the virtual platform?
First register for the event by clicking on the "Register Now" button above or below. You will then receive a confirmation email with additional details. A few days before the event you will receive another separate email prompting you to create your account and download the virtual world.
Can I access the virtual platform with my mobile device?
No. You can only access the virtual platfrom via. desktop computer.
How will I know what to do inside the virtual world?
ALA Lighting staff will be virtually "on-site" to demonstrate how to dance, clap, interact, etc. They will also be on-site should any attendee run in to any technical difficulties.
